Stadium Motocross returns to the NSW Central Coast on Saturday, JAN 19… STADIUM MOTOCROSS MASTERS at GOSFORD SHOWGROUND.
Factory riders on 250cc and 450’s down through the ranks to the 65cc and 50cc brigade will have their first outing for 2008 on the purpose-built and user-friendly layout designed and constructed by Hunter hero DANNY HAM.
The dual-track design will incorporate daunting challenges for the best of riders while providing a safe yet exciting experience for the less skilled.
And Danny intends to build on his pay cheque, taking his place in the Open field in one of his selected appearances for 2008.
With rider entries still open, Ham will be joined in Senior competition by the KTM and Suzuki factory lineups.
KTM in particular will unleash a new-look team for 2008 which includes experienced Western Australian MICHAEL ADDISON and young guns TYE SIMMONDS and TODD WATERS.
The Central Coast is the ideal location for summertime dirt bike action – halfway between Sydney and Newcastle and gateway to a long stretch of great ocean beach resorts.
And Gosford has previously proved a mecca for two-wheel action with previous successful meetings staged by SPOKES PROMOTIONS at nearby Central Coast Stadium.
The Gosford Showground (Showground Rd) boasts adequate pit area to accommodate the compliment of riders ranging from the Nippers up to the Pros.
Backflipping Freestyle will feature on the program along with the awesome SCOOBY-DOO! Monster Truck and summer fireworks spectacular.
Spectator entry fees are ADULT $35, JUNIORS (Under 15) $15, FAMILY (2Ad+2Juniors) $90.
