| | | Australia’s longest-running supercross event -- the Brisbane staging of SUPERCROSS MASTERS – bounds back into the Entertainment Centre on the night of October 6.
Factory teams have again committed themselves to the annual one-night-only two-wheel spectacle that has been wowing Queensland two-wheel fans since its launch exactly 20 years ago.
And for the first time, SUPERCROSS MASTERS will carry with it the official QUEENSLAND SUPERCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP.
Last year’s meeting played to a capacity audience with standing room tickets hastily issued to accommodate the crowd numbers.
And in keeping with the proud tradition of SUPERCROSS MASTERS, this year’s Brisbane offering boasts a prizemoney purse of some $25,000 – making for clearly the richest one-day motorcycle event in Australia.
SUPERCROSS MASTERS is the only supercross to be staged in Queensland for more than 12 months.
And it will certainly help fill the massive void prior to commencement of the national title, not expected to start until September 2008.
